Dr. Kristel Polder is a board-certified cosmetic and medical dermatologist practicing in Dallas, Texas. She specializes in general medical dermatology, laser procedures, facial rejuvenation, injectables, and non-surgical body contouring. Dr. Polder is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Department of Dermatology, in Dallas. Dr. Polder regularly lectures to residents and medical students, and educates dermatology residents through hands-on filler and botulinum toxin injection workshops. Residents also have the opportunity to rotate with Dr. Polder in her private practice clinic. Dr. Polder has served as an investigator on several clinical trials, including studies examining the efficacy and safety of lasers as well as topical and oral treatments for a variety of dermatologic conditions. She has served as a Principal Investigator for performing clinical trial work using laser technology. Dr. Polder has been featured on CBS discussing and demonstrating laser resurfacing. Craig F. Teller, MD is a native Houstonian and has been practicing Dermatology since 1995. He is an honors graduate of Bellaire High School, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. After an internship in Internal Medicine at UT Houston, he completed a three-year residency in Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to establishing Bellaire Dermatology Associates with Dr. Gerber in 1997, he served as staff Dermatologist at Diagnostic Clinic of Houston. Dr. Teller is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine, as well as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He is actively involved in instructing medical students, residents, and other physicians. He has given over 100 CME presentations and lectures nationally on a variety of topics including advanced cosmetic procedures, advanced psoriasis care, phlebology, laser treatments, immune response modifiers, fungal diseases, and challenging skin conditions. He is active in educating his physician colleagues. Dr. Teller is recognized as a national physician trainer for Botox Cosmetic. Dr. Cheryl Burgess, a board certified dermatologist, is the founder and medical director of the Center for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She is board certified in dermatology with over 20 years of experience in clinical and cosmetic dermatology and her colleagues have voted her Top Doctor for 2010 and numerous other years. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University and George Washington University in Washington, DC and is currently the director of the only accredited and certified physician assistant fellowship program for dermatology in the United States. Dr. Burgess earned her doctorate of medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology at Howard University Hospital. Paul M. Friedman, MD, board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is co-author of Beautiful Skin Revealed: The Ultimate Guide to Better Skin™. Dr. Friedman received his medical degree with highest honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine. There he received the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society Distinguished Graduate Award and the National Institute of Health Research Fellowship Grant. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Barnes Jewish Hospital of the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Friedman completed his training in dermatology at the New York School of Medicine, one of the nation’s top dermatology residency programs, where he served as Chief Resident and was twice awarded the prestigious Husik Prize for his research in dermatologic surgery. He went on to complete a one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic laser surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. During his fellowship, Dr. Friedman was the recipient of the Young Investigator’s Writing Competition Award of The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Jennifer M. Segal, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in skin health and rejuvenation. Through her established clinical practice at Nigro Dermatology Group, Dr. Segal provides scientifically proven treatments in the fields of skin care and skin aging in a highly personal environment. Dr. Segal is known for her extensive training in all areas of the field and has a particular interest in cosmetic dermatology.
