• Create circuit by placing chosen Fitness Skill Cards and other Skill Cards around = Fitness Skill Cards perimeter on cones and/or in Shoulder Folders to form stations. Alternate a “fun” and a “fitness” station around the circuit. Number the stations 1-X. • Place necessary equipment at the stations. • Create cooperative groups with 5 students each and give each group a number 1-X. One student per group is the Roll-taker, another is the Back-up Roll-taker. They are responsible for checking the attendance of the group and reporting it to the teacher. • Use the same groups each time you use this ASAP. Students will always begin at their like-numbered station.

Teach 1. In Fun and Fitness Circuit, I will take attendance as you complete a circuit made up of both fun and fitness-themed stations. 2. As you arrive, find the station that is numbered the same as your cooperative group number. Begin activity at that station. 3. Stay at that station until the signal to switch, then rotate clockwise to the next station. (Use music on and off for signal.) 4, Roll-takers report attendance to me (or my designated “assistant”) when I come to your station.

1 - Your Pace Go through the circuit at your own pace. We will have X number (you decide) of minutes to complete the circuit. Pace yourself accordingly. You may stay at some stations longer than others and you do not need to stop at every station. 2 - Write Your Own (Provide each group of 5 students a blank card and pen.) Get creative and write your own “Fun” Skill Card. Include a drawing of your activity.
