Timber Cladding For Mezzanine Floors

SABS Approved Pine timber joists are laid at 500mm centres on top of our steel racking structure and sheets of plywood are fixed to these joists (other types of timber cladding are available on request).

All our products have baked epoxy powder coated finish and pass through a 5-stage chemical cleaning process Powder is applied to an average thickness of 55 microns as per SABS 1274-1979 type 2 method 141 prior

to oven baking at 210° Celsius for 15 minutes. All paint specifications are independently verified to conform to SABS standards by Corrosion Advisory Technical Services. Manufactured in South Africa since 1965

Structural Mezzanine Floor

Structural Mezzanine Floors leave a large open area below for maximum working space. This can be utilised for various different uses i.e. office area, packing area, storage area or receiving or dispatch area. With very little support beams taking up space, the area is open and can be used very productively.

Rack Supported Mezzanine Floors is a very practical way of utilising the (often wasted) space above racking. This form of Mezzanine is built from pallet racking materials and is generally the most cost effective way of building a mezzanine.Storage is gained above the structure with an open deck, plus the support for the deck is usable pallet racking that can either be left open or utilised as shelving.
