This session is designed to provide an overview discussion of the strong requirement for LiDAR calibration and validation to ensure accuracy and interoperability of data collected from multiple systems. There are many issues when users try to use and integrate data from a point cloud archive in support of large scale assessments. These issues involve improperly documented cal/val data and associated common practices. This session will provide short presentations by the speakers with a panel discussion session during the last 30 minutes.
